Network Metrics
Johoe’s Mempool Statistics
Check the current fee level for several popular blockchains and minimize the fees you post to the network. Johoe’s Mempool Statistics provides a great visualization for users to see what fees levels are currently clearing and what fee levels are not. It also can reveal longer term trends and big events happening with each network’s mempool.
BitInfoCharts
Bitinfocharts tracks several important statistics on many top blockchain networks. Get a good look at how much cryptocurrency is changing hands, how many transactions happened on a given day, how many different addresses are active, and much more. Several of these metrics track important factors that give a currency network value in the first place.
Blockchair
Use a searchable database to find specific transactions, blocks, or addresses. Blockchair allows users to check up on important blockchain status information. Use it for simple tasks like checking the block height or keeping tabs on a specific address, or use their API for more involved statistical tracking,
CoinFairValue
An interesting site that takes a purely analytical approach to cryptocurrency valuation. While CoinFairValue uses a currency valuation model that has been shown to strongly correlate to real-world price, I will caution that this analytical model isn’t able to take into account any external non-mathematical factors. Still, it provides interesting insight and savvy onlookers may find some valuable longer-term trends.
